There I was, having a very lazy day, thinking about going down the yard at about 3pm, when Sarah text me...

She had planned to take Ace to a show on the 3rd (tomorrow) and had asked if I'd like to bring Freddie along too, but because of the weather had said that she thought they probably wouldn't go. I kind of thought that meant we definitely weren't going and thought no more of it.

Anyway, she text me at 3pm today saying that they were going to the show and asking if Freddie wanted to some too! So off I rushed down to the yard.

So tomorrow, Jasper, Freddie and Ace are all going to their first proper show! It's a CHAPS/PUK/Equifest winter qualifier, but apparently not huge, which is a blessing.
However, I had previously assumed I'd have until early spring to get a show outfit together for both Freddie and I, so am completely unprepared. So Sarah is going to ride him for me in his class(es) which I am actually really looking forward to as it will give me a chance to see how he goes, how she does it, how he does, etc. and I can just relax and enjoy his first time out. So I'm really looking forward to it!

Note to self though, get show outfit together asap! I have my eye on a lovely show jacket from Mrs. Candy! I need some yellow jods, black boots, blue shirt, blue tie, saddle, bridle.... and probably more, lol! I need to get my finger out!
